Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 July 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of hossamadellaw.com (in all its language versions — Arabic, English, French, and German), including browsing legal articles, using contact and consultation-request forms, creating an account, and purchasing from the online shop. By accessing or using the website in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These Terms should be read together with the site’s Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund and Returns Policy.

2. The Entity Operating the Website

This website is operated by Hossam Adel Law Firm, registered with the Egyptian Bar Association and licensed to practice law in the Arab Republic of Egypt in the name of Hossam Adel, under Egyptian Advocacy Law No. 17 of 1983 (as last amended on 8 July 2020).
Contact: contact@hossamadellaw.com — +201080060717 — Mansoura, Arab Republic of Egypt.

3. Scope of Services Offered Through the Website

The website provides:

  1. legal content and articles of a general informational nature;
  2. a contact form to request an initial legal consultation;
  3. an online shop selling legal and religious books and digital (PDF) publications;
  4. a personal account (customer area) to track orders and manage data.

The Firm may provide its actual legal services (consultations and engagements) to clients inside and outside Egypt, depending on the nature of each matter, and within the legal and professional frameworks governing the practice of law.

4. Nature of the Legal Content and No Attorney-Client Relationship

Content published on the website (articles, FAQs, and similar material) is general informational content only, does not constitute formal legal advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for specialized legal advice regarding your individual situation. No attorney-client relationship arises merely from:

  • browsing the website or reading an article;
  • leaving a comment on an article;
  • submitting an enquiry or consultation request through the contact form;
  • communicating via email, phone, WhatsApp, or Google Meet prior to signing a formal agreement.

An attorney-client relationship, and the absolute duty of professional confidentiality that follows from it, arises only under an express, signed Engagement Letter between the Firm and the client, setting out the scope of work, fees, and mutual obligations.

5. Accounts and Registration

The website allows you to create a personal account to access the customer area and track orders. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login credentials confidential;
  • the accuracy of the information you provide upon registration;
  • any activity carried out through your account.

The Firm reserves the right to suspend or close any account used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

6. Online Shop and Purchase Terms

The website sells legal and religious books and digital (PDF) publications in multiple currencies based on the official exchange rate and the banking policies of the contracted payment service providers. Payments are processed via Paymob (for local payments) and PayPal (for international payments), alongside a cash-on-delivery option where available. Completing a purchase constitutes your confirmation of the accuracy of the order details and your agreement to the price displayed at the time of purchase.
Responsibility for any security incident affecting the payment gateways themselves, after you have been redirected to them, is joint and several between the Firm and the payment provider, apportioned according to each party’s role and actual degree of fault, as further detailed in the Privacy Policy.
Returns, exchanges, and order cancellations are governed by the Refund and Returns Policy published on the website.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights relating to the website’s content (text, articles, logo, design, and digital materials sold through the shop) are owned by, or lawfully licensed to, the Firm. This content may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited without the Firm’s prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use or limited quotation with attribution to the source.

8. Acceptable Use of the Website

Users of the website agree not to:

  • use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • attempt unauthorized access to the website’s systems or data;
  • post abusive, defamatory, or spam content in comments;
  • use automated tools (bots/scraping) to extract the website’s content without permission.

The Firm reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice, as further described in the section below on comments.

9. Comments on Articles

Comments are enabled on the site’s articles. The Firm reserves the right to review, edit, or delete any comment, and to refuse to publish any comment that violates these Terms or contains abusive or unlawful content, without needing to state its reasons.

10. Advertising on the Website

The website displays advertising through Google AdSense and may use additional digital advertising networks. The display of any advertisement on the website does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by the Firm of the advertised product or service, and the Firm bears no responsibility for the content of third-party advertisements. For more details on how advertising is displayed and the related data processing, please see the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

11. External Links

The website may include links to external sites or platforms (such as social media or embedded videos). The Firm bears no responsibility for the content of these sites or their privacy practices.

12. Limitation of Liability

The website’s content is provided “as is.” The Firm makes reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, without guaranteeing that it is entirely free of errors or uninterrupted. We comply with applicable laws regarding any damage that may arise from use of the website, including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151/2020 and the law governing the legal profession, without this extending to liability for decisions made based solely on general informational content in the absence of formal legal advice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal or operational changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly, and your continued use of the website after any update is published constitutes your acceptance of it.

14. Governing Language and Applicable Law

Governing language: the Arabic and English versions of these Terms are the official versions and are together binding as a bilingual document. The French and German versions are provided as a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation, the Arabic and English versions shall prevail.
Applicable law and jurisdiction: these Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed primarily by Egyptian law, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions in force for the benefit of users resident in other jurisdictions which cannot be contractually waived. The competent Egyptian courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law applicable in another jurisdiction grants its own courts exclusive jurisdiction over users resident there.
